The 2018 Regional Wilderness Therapy Symposium is co-sponsored by the Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Council and The Institute for Continuing Education. Credit is awarded on a session-by-session basis, with full attendance required for the sessions attended. The Symposium offers a total of 13.50 continuing education contact hours ( April 5: 7.50 hrs; April 6: 6.00 hrs.
There is no CE processing fee for attendees wishing to apply for CE credit. Attendees wishing to make application for CE credit should stop by the registration desk and pick up CE forms. Verification of contact hours earned will be mailed to attendees following the Symposium. To receive continuing education credit, attendees must complete all CE forms, sign in/out at designated locations, and submit an evaluation of the sessions attended.
Note: It is the responsibility of attendees to check with their state licensing/certification board to determine if CE credit offered by The Institute for Continuing Education will meet the regulations of their board.
Psychology: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content. All sessions may not be eligible for CE credit for psychology. CE attendance logs will indicate any non-credit psychology sessions
Counseling: For counselors seeking credit, The Institute for Continuing Education has made a co-sponsorship application to NBCC for this event. Not all sessions may be approved for CE credit. CE attendance logs will indicate any non-credit sessions.
Social Work: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), though the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Provider No. 1007. Licensed social workers should contact their individual state jurisdiction to review current continuing education requirements for license renewal. All sessions may not be eligible for CE credit for psychology. CE attendance logs will indicate any non-credit sessions
