The Wilderness Therapy Symposium
Update: (6.2.20) – the OBH Council has decided to cancel the 2020 WTS in Park City. We determined that most programs would be unable to risk sending their staff to this year’s event, so in the best interest of protecting the health and safety of our participants we are not going to be hosting an in-person Symposium in 2020. There is still some ongoing discussion around offering some portion of the Symposium in an online virtual format, so stay tuned for updates on that front. For more info, please email Jim Lavin (WTS Event director) at firstname.lastname@example.org
The National WT Symposium will take place on August 27-29th 2020 in Park City, UT.
2020 Fee chart will be available for download as of May 2020.

The Symposium brings a diverse cross-section of clinicians, field instructors, rites of passage guides, educational consultants, professors, research specialists, students and residential programs staff under one roof to share theories, insights and best practices in an open spirit. We do this to improve ourselves and the therapeutic services we provide. The symposium offers us a place to explore, inform, and educate ourselves on a diverse range of topics all centering on wilderness therapy.
