Equinox Counseling & Wellness Center is a specialized intensive outpatient treatment center. Our programs incorporate traditional outpatient therapy with wilderness intensives and milieu services, creating a new step in the continuum of mental health care. We have taken the best components of residential treatment, wilderness therapy, mental health centers, and community-based treatment to develop the first of its kind community-based outpatient model. We treat neurodiverse youth and families experiencing emotional, mental and behavioral health issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, and Executive Function Disorder; OR those who have previously been diagnosed with mood disorders, depression, or anxiety

Equinox assembles the best mental health teams to develop individualized treatment plans for you, your family, and your child. Treatment teams are comprised of licensed therapists, master level therapeutic care specialists, wilderness therapy specialists, a parent coach, and a clinical administrator. We’re in this together–working collaboratively with your child’s psychiatrist and school to ensure cohesive “trifecta” support in the home, school and therapeutic environments.

Our center for intensive outpatient treatment is located in the Denver metro area just minutes from the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains. The Equinox Counseling and Wellness Center is a one-of-a-kind facility where each aspect of the environment is methodically designed to allow youth to feel comfortable in their own skin, build strong peer support, and cultivate healing.

Our national transition and aftercare services assist families transitioning adolescent or young adult children from any short-term or long-term treatment setting. We understand the fear and worry involved in bringing a child home and have a structured personalized process that prepares the whole family for success.
